As funny as it may seem I don’t really do the whole ‘plastic tattoo convention’ thing especially in the UK but London and a couple others I make exceptions for!
A perfect chance to catch up with friends from around the world who I rarely get to see!
1st things 1st Friday morning I went to collect the 1st version of the Jilted Royalty ‘X’ Great Frog collaboration ring.
Got to the convention late so straight into my day sitting with Matt Difa for final session on Reptile Read ‘X’ Wolverine sleeve!
Me, Matt + Claudia had a laugh man!HAHA (….Every-time is story-time!)
Ring could be spotted a mile off, was getting asked about it all weekend!
SESSION OVER!
Time to go see the sights!

Because I’m a twat an couldn’t be arsed to carry a camera I didnt take ANY pictures at the convention and ALL the pics on this blog are ones people have emailed me!
Gutted that i have non of the IN-BETWEEN times at the convention and who I was with which were the best parts of the whole weekend!
Jee Sayalero tattooed my hand around 3 years ago in Milan, we’ve planned a few times to touch it up but just never ended up being the rite time!

All in all a good weekend!
For good + bad reasons this weekend was a memorable experience for me that will be added to my mental log, just another entry to be inserted into Read’s diary of life!

Couple months ago i took close friend Martyn to meet Xed an get his face tattooed.
We went back on Friday to extended his face onto his ears.

Slightly swollen an distorted but will settle down in a week.

A couple months ago I was contacted by MixMag photographer Tamsin Mae who told me the magazine wanted to do a day in the life type article on myself and my store. The piece was for a blog on their new Fashion + music site which they released a couple weeks ago.
For this i spoke to the lads at Ichiban and arranged a sale day in store. To tie the fashion n music together I also planned Candy Store’s 2nd collab event with MHVH at The Rainbow.
Cue started over an hour before we opened
By 2pm we’d done the lot, only a few Tee’s left!
After a busy day what better to cheer up the lads than a visit from = ‘the’ Prada wearing Ice Man, @RealBigBoothy
….Few mixed drinks at the shop to celebrate the day then its party time!
