Walkin through Brighton tattoo convention with my pal ‘Mad Alan’
(who’s called that for a reason!)…
…and out the corner of my eye could see a photographer scoping me, i stoped for a minute n she came over to talk to me n took a couple of snaps and we exchanged business cards, she said she’d send me a pic but she didn’t so i thought id go on her website to message her asking for the pictures.
I typed the website in and what do i find the landing page of her site to be, nothing other than old Readie cracking a big cheesey smile that Jean would be well proud of! 
I looked through her site and her photography is unique n edgy with a taste for all things alternative.
Alexandra also has a monthly news letter that can be subscribed to via the site.
She is highly recommend!

Last weekend at Brighton convention i first spotted Sam n Akin, Akin because of his funky dreadz bursting out of his hat n Sam cuz he had his camera primed n ready to pap me! ha
Sam is one of the founding members of ‘Gang Up Magazine’ and is Brighton’s most notorious party photographer with an appetite for mischief and an eye for style! ( obviously 
)
Definitely keep your eye on Sam’s blog for all the best shots as he is out pappin constantly at all of Brighton’s biggest nights n events!

Rite then, how to word this?!
lets just say………………NEAR DEATH MISSES!
This R1 was the 2nd bike id ever brought but i only realy like black bike/cars so i decided to strip it.
After a few months work and a while on ebay this is what it looked like.
But by that time id already gone an brought this new 05 R1
so was takeing the uva one to my pals house where he was waitin with 3k for it!
We never made it to his house and 10 minutes after that picture was taken it looked like this twisted up in some railings at the bottom of the road, i was braking hard from about 110mph on a small road n went over a manhole cover and it slipped from underneath me, it slid across the floor hitting some railings and flipped through the air! ha.
Bike had took us about 3 months to rebuild and in the length of 1 road it was all over! haha
I staggered to my feet disorientated and a car stopped in the middle of the road with the driver gettin out to help me but as i looked across the road to the other side of the traffic lights who did i see, non other than the late Dwayne Reid in his van flashing his lights at me with my other pal infront of him, i went and jumped in my mates car with reid in tow and we made our exit! ha
i felt abit weird n claustrophobic sitting in the back of the car but as i got about a mile down the road i realised it was because i was still wearing my helmet n gloves!hahaha.
Shock is a funny thing!
1 bent key is all i have left of it but i obviously still had the 05 sittin in my lock up so wernt realy arsed! ha

The 2nd time was in summer 2007, another hot day so as standard dwayne blagged work n we went ridein.
We was racein as always and on approaching the brow of a ‘local’ blind hill at about 120mph Dwayne eased off but i didn’t, as i went over the hill there was a car pulling out, i slammed the anchors on an my braking line was towards a gap so would of been OK but the fucking spastic woman driving the car hesitated and pulled out into the middle of the road, id got down to about 40mph and the front end slipped from underneath me about 1 metre from impact, the front of the bike went under the car and i hit the side head first!
Staggering to me feet and falling onto the pavement in a dizzy state i heard a bike engine n the beep of a horn and low n behold old Reidy had come to my saviour once again!
I slumped onto the back of his bike and we exited the scene immediately!
20 minutes later twinny’s emergency recovery services collected the bike from the side of the road and it was rebuilt n sold within a couple months!

3rd time -
I never do my dirty washing in public nor do i talk about things i just do em and speak afterwards! This story is very long, pathetic n boring and i am mentioning it purely because it involves Dwayne so i will keep it short n sweet!
Cutting along story short basically about 4months ago i was knocked out with a Judas move by a so’called mate of mine in a so’called straightener then when i was asleep the dog stabbed me, that is basically it! SILLY BOY!
ANYWAY……………..it was about 9pm when this happened in a pitch black park so i probably wouldn’t of been found and in the freezing weather could of led to a sad demise for your humble narrator, some time had passed since id left and my boyfriend MR Reid was obviously getting worried and knowing where id gone came to look for me, i awoke to the sight of Dwayne and an ambulance n we went from their!

I don’t really know why i have writ this blog but for ages its been on my mind that he has saved my arse a few times an iv never really thanked him, well here it is!
MY BROTHER FROM ANOTHER MOTHER!
My GSXR1000 project bike is now ready and will be unleashed on the streets this summer, hopefully il be writing another crash blog next year, or maybe not, you only live once so live life to the full ……………..you know reaaaad!
