….WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
Birmingham, England.

HOW OLD ARE YOU?
28.

WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
I still live in Birmingham but lately when I’m in England i spend 90% of my time working in London and also travelling to other countries for fashion events, tattoo conventions and holidays.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?
Fashion designer/model/creative.

HOW WOULD YOU DISCRIBE YOUR OWN PERSONALITY?
I suffer from multiple personality disorder and have done for as long as i can remember, I am also manic depressive but do not try to hide either of these things from anyone, I am brutally honest 100% of the time and never butter things up to sound better than they are and i never say things just to make people feel better like alot of bullshitters/arse-lickers do these days. I’m totally real and just tell it how it is!
Some people don’t know how to take this and feel pressured by my rawness, but for me its the only way and i always want people to know where they stand with me, so my word is my word and i never break it.
If you want to know something then don’t ponder on it, just ask me because i will tell you with no hesitation!

DID YOU HAVE A PERTICULAR REASON TO START GETTING TATTOOED?
From a young age i always looked up to my dad and was fascinated by him, he is a good man and also heavily tattooed (so i thought as a kid).
I used to look at him and always wanted the same tattoos in the exact same places. I always knew i was also going to become heavily tattooed, but to what level i never really thought about. I have an addictive personality and when i do something i do it to excess, so i am not at all surprised that i have ended up looking this way!

WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT: THE TATTOOS YOU ALREADY HAVE OR THOSE YOU ARE YET TO GET?
There are only two tattoos that have any real meaning to me, one is a large cross on my back which is in remembrance to the most amazing woman i have ever met, Johanna Mckinney, and the other is a small detail on my finger which reminds me of a special friend i used to have, everything else is purely aesthetical and are basically just images that i like.
I am keeping those two tattoos but nearly everything else is going, for the past 12months i have been lasering my whole body (90% of) to remove everything so i can start again but this time im having solid colour work.
I will use my legs to collect medium size pieces from different artists i like, I am keeping my neck, head/face and right sleeve which is already a cover up, the artist Matt Difa is doing my new left sleeve which is already designed and the concept for my full front piece were discussing also.
I am having one solid piece covering my whole front onto my upper thighs (similar shape to a full back piece), Xed Le Head is tattooing my cock, bellend and bollocks incorporating into Matts work and wrapping underneath to my arsehole/cheeks.
I don’t want any visible skin (apart from whats already on my face) on my body at all within the next two to three years. I want to be as close to the true meaning of the words “full coverage” as possible and hopefully by doing this i will find contentment in how i look, but sadly somehow i doubt that will ever happen!

HOW AND WHEN DID YOU DECIDE TO HAVE YOUR FACE TATTOOED?
I have been getting tattooed every week or two for about seven years, so obviously space was disappearing quite fast and people would always ask me if id ever go onto my face and I always said i wouldn’t.
I was not always well behaved and knew that if i had my face tattooed I would be easily recognisable if somebody wanted to point me out of identify me in certain situations; also there was the stigma that gets attached to people with face tattoos and not being able to blend into society and be normal etc. Then i sat and thought how i have never been normal anyway, or tried to blend into society, nor do I care one bit about peoples thoughts towards me so i went for it.
I had my neck tattooed and was already planning to have my head done but i didn’t know what I wanted, so I put it on hold until my neck was complete. After spending time on the tattoo scene over the past few years I have met some amazing people who also have their heads/faces tattooed and they seem to get on OK from day to day, so then the next step began. I decided what I wanted on my head and started that but before we’d finished id already decided i was going to get my face tattooed, and who better to do it than the man who inspired me to get it done in the first place, a good friend of mine Xed Le Head.

HOW DID YOU AND THE ARTIST COME UP WITH THE DESIGN?
I am good at visualizing things and knew what type of pattern would work the best, I wanted it based on the shape of a gladiator helmet so we looked through his designs an quickly found what we wanted and knew it was going to work!

WHAT KIND OF EXPERIENCE WAS THE ACTUAL TATTOOING?
The actual tattooing took four hours per side, it isn’t that big but dot work is a very delicate process and time consuming, it was painful but I felt honoured that Xed was doing it because i knew it was going to be perfect and well worth any amount of pain!

DID IT HAVE ANY SPECIFIC INPACT ON THE WAY PEOPLE PERCEIVE YOU?
People who already know me know all they need to know and no amount of tattooing would surprise any of them, but i get many different reactions from strangers yes, if i could describe the overall reaction of people in one word it would probably be “cautious” but as soon as people talk to me they are put totally at ease. Even if you look a bit off the wall you can easily alter peoples perceptions of you by how you carry yourself.
I am no idiot and people can easily and quickly find themselves in a dark place with me but 99% of the time I’m totally polite and genuine. My manners are that of a gentleman which in turn makes people feel comfortable around me.
….Its nice to be nice!

WHAT IS YOUR NEXT TATTOO?
My arm has had more lasering than the rest of my body so that will be ready to cover first, the tattoo is a co-lab design between me and Matt which will also be used as a Tshirt design being released through my clothing label Jilted Royalty, Matt is turning me into a hybrid Marvel hero type character and i will be fighting with wolverine, the sleeve will be a mix of a comic strip/fight scenes.
I have full faith in him its going to be amazing!

……..GOOD TIMES!

London Street Wear label ‘Ask Your Girl’ will be collaborating with Jilted Royalty for their first ever co-lab later this year!
Gonna be BIG!
